ReddogsVR is an Australian Virtual Reality and Location Based Entertainment production company and creative agency that focus on creating meaningful and memorable educational and entertainment experiences.

ReddogsVR was founded by Australian filmmaker Dominic Allen with the goal of being a specialist provider of the highest quality virtual reality and immersive 360, multi-platform content. Focussing originally on live action 360, in it’s early years ReddogsVR provided tailored end-end solutions for a broad range of brands and artists including Subaru, HSBC/S1T2 + The Wallabies, Defence Force Recruiting, The Cat Empire and Roller One.

Inspired by the growing potential for VR to engage audiences in highly emotional, impactful ways and inspired to use the technology to celebrate Indigenous Australian culture, in 2017 Dominic set out to produce Carriberrie, a multi-platform immersive documentary film celebrating Indigenous Australian Song and Dance. Funded with support of Screen Australia and Film Victoria, and shot on the revolutionary Jaunt One, Carriberrie became the largest immersive 360 project ever created in Australia and features more than 150 dancers across 9 stunning locations. Carriberrie premiered in 2018 at the Australian Museum in Sydney and premiered globally at Cannes Next 2018 before embarking on a highly acclaimed tour of festivals globally, winning multiple awards. Returning to Australia, Carriberrie became a major immersive exhibition at Canberra’s National Film and Sound Archive where thousands of viewers experienced the film and extended content on headset and tablets. In 2021 NFSA and ReddogsVR worked with Patrik Hubner to create a ground breaking website version of Carriberrie with the goal of aiding educational use of the film. The immersive website features 156 dancers, 23 performances and 9 cultural groups and is available online now. Carriberrie online won the awards for Best Program Website and Best in Show: Multimedia at the 2021 Museums Australasia Multimedia and Publication Design Awards.

Shortly after acquiring premiere Melbourne tourism venue Eureka Skydeck, Australia's leading experiential tourism group Journey Beyond engaged ReddogsVR to design and implement a ground breaking, multi-platform AR, MR and VR user experience encompassing the construction of a state of the art 26 person 4D cinema, the production of a bespoke VR film celebrating Melbourne, the creation of an AR app to heighten user experience and the installation of a mixed reality window on the level 88 Skydeck displaying future visions of the city. Melbourne SkydeckXR promises to become one the largest location based entertainment experiences operating daily in the southern hemisphere, engaging estimated 500,000 tourists annually.
